11 PS5, PS4 Games Are Leaving PS Plus Extra in December 2023

Luckily Yakuza LAD was already given in Essential. Yakuza 6 always is on sale. The other I would play someday is Middle-Earth SoW, but is not a priority. So, I will survive those losses haha

You know that's not how licencing content on subscription models works right? Platforms pay to have content on the service for a period of time

@freddquadros I lose track of which games came from where, so thats good to read that Yakuza LAD might still be available to me this way (I guess I claimed it on the monthly games) It's been downloaded on one PS for a while, but it's been in my backlog waiting for an opportunity to shine

I didn't realise the escapists 2 was on there. I'll give that a go over the weekend.

@Ravix a good idea.oa either to put games in folders of when they joined the line up, or even into folders labelled when they are leaving the service.

That way, if you aren't that I to some of these games and your go to game is getting a bit boring, you can scan your folders for stuff leaving soon and maybe give them a try before they go

I'm going to play El Hijo and Foreclosed.

Maybe Caladrius Blaze too, but I already completed that on Steam years ago. It's an alright bullet hell/shoot 'em up.

El Hijo was really good. Not that long either.

Phew, I think I gift myself a downgrade to essential this xmas... or cancel it completely.

I recommend checking out Caladrius Blaze. It's a really fun shooter that has some very captivating gameplay

Foreclosed won't be missed. Not very good game at all. Easy plat tho if that your deal.

I still can see the last month games, those already left, so the "last chance to play" still not refreshed for me, I checked on PS5 and PS4 too. Any idea why?
I saw this list on tuesday on reddit and I still can't figure out why both of my consoles not refreshing...

@Ravix It came in august 22 to essentials, alongside Tony Hawk 1+2 and Little Nightmares.

@freddquadros That's a relief to hear.I was already unable to finish Yakuza Kiwami 2 after it was pulled.I'm loving Yakuza Like A Dragon but there's no way I'd finish it in time.

@Wazeddie22 Oh yeah, I had to buy K2 as well, I'm currently playing it. The side content is very engaging, so I don't want to rush the game.

Ah, I'm glad people mentioned Like a Dragon was on Essential at some point, hopefully I redeemed it! I'm currently playing it and am probably 40% of the way through, so finishing it in a couple more weeks might be a tall ask

I've quite a few games I started on Extra but got distracted from and haven't gone back to. I worry each month some will leave the service and I won't have the time to finish them.

@freddquadros If memory serves me well, SoW was also part of Essential back in the day when it was still called PS Plus.

@BrotherFilmriss have been considering the same thing for awhile now. I started recently by canceling Game Pass. Just not worth what they want for it anymore. As for plus i might go down to essential as well. I have a big enough back log now, that i practically have my own premium collection anyway.

Good thing I have Yakuza 6 on disc and like a dragon I own already so no major falls for me this month
